Amanda Carley brings more than 20 years of criminal and civil investigative experience to Titan National Consulting Group. Her background includes service as a Criminal Investigator for the State of California, an armed Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS) Agent II, multiagency task-force assignments, and specialized victim and witness work with the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office. Her experience combines criminal investigation, field operations, and an ability to establish rapport with victims, witnesses, and other individuals in circumstances where trust can be difficult to earn.
Amanda began her career providing crisis-line support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault before joining the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office. During more than six years with the office, she served as the sole countywide Victim/Witness Advocate assigned to the Child Abuse Vertical Prosecution Team. She later served as a Deputy Probation Officer II and armed PRCS Agent II, managing a specialized high-risk caseload and investigating new criminal conduct and supervision violations. As a member of the County of Mendocino Marijuana Eradication Team (COMMET), she participated in California Department of Justice-led multiagency operations involving surveillance, search warrants, tactical operations, suspect apprehension and interviews, and evidence collection. Her subsequent experience includes background investigations, internal-affairs and employee-relations investigations, and criminal investigations developed for prosecutorial review.
Named Probation Officer of the Year in 2015, Amanda has received commendations and professional recommendations from the California Attorney General’s Office, law enforcement leaders, prosecutors, and judges. Her professional preparation includes a basic law-enforcement academy and specialized training in forensic interviewing, search and seizure, tactical firearms, and Short Term Airborne Operations (STABO). She was also a founding staff member of California’s Early Access and Stabilization Services program, where she provided competency-restoration education to defendants found incompetent to stand trial. Amanda holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and an associate degree in psychology and is pursuing a Master of Social Work at California Baptist University.
